Cardio is an amazing tool that can be used alone to get a great workouts, or combined with a fitness training program. There are a lot of benefits to cardio besides just losing weight. Cardio strengthens the heart and helps with nutrient partitioning ( makes are food more readily available for our bodies), as well as boosting mood and general health.

I approach cardio as a tool in the tool chest. I don’t believe in zero cardio, even for people who are super lean. I also don’t believe in extremes. I always start with the least amount possible and increase if, and only if, the diet and training isn’t doing the job. Losing weight is all about using the right tools at the right times. It can help bust thru plateaus and the right kind of cardio (HIIT) can boost the metabolism.

Using my experience as a top ranked IFBB Bikini pro for the past 10 years, I have helped hundreds of women worldwide get fit, healthy, and happy using flexible & sustainable methods. More importantly, I  have helped women find levels of self-love and confidence that they never thought possible.  I take an inside-out approach to every transformation. All my girls know, I focus on getting the mind right, so the body follows. 

 

When I started my coaching business 5 years ago I knew I wanted to help women learn sustainable methods to get results & keep them. This is why I don’t believe in going to extremes with cardio or diet, but instead finding healthy ways to keep them eating the foods they like (in moderation) and training in a way that fits THEIR individual schedule.
